The clock on the right of the catalogue image is engraved to the rear plate The Yale Clock Company, New Haven, CT. There are marks on the back plate which suggest the brass colour is flaking off. There is no base plate, and a number of the cog wheels are visible. The winder and hand movement button feed into an enclosed case, with the internal mechanism not visible. The winder, when turned in either direction, unscrews and does not wind the clock. The turning mechanism for the hands is stiff, but the hands do move. Pendulum swings freely. Dirty marks to the edges of the face suggesting the face has been moved at some point, exposing part which has been previously hidden behind its frame. Case has one or two minor dents, particularly around the base but otherwise in fair condition.
