A fine quality Regency rosewood writing slope circa 1820, brass inlaid and strung, campaign style inset handles to sides, mahogany and cedar lined interior with blue and gilt tooled leather fold out writing slope and secret compartment, width 38.5cm, depth 28.5cm & height 15cm.
Condition - one pieces of brass inlay lifting, top not quite flush to front right, restoration to include letter rack, felt to base otherwise very good, general wear to leather etc.
