An antique pink spinel and diamond cluster ring, the central vivid pink rectangular cushion cut stone weighing approx. 1.90 carats, surrounded by twelve old European cut diamonds within a millegrain border, weighing between 0.025 to 0.035 carats each, a further three old European cut diamonds to each shoulder, total estimated diamond wt. 0.52 carats, the cluster measuring approx. 11.98mm x 11.33mm, band marked 'PLAT', gross wt. 3.12g, size P.
Condition - sold without certificate however the natural spinel has a multiphase inclusion visible with 10x loupe and visible with naked eye once you know where it is, minor abrasions/nibbles to facet edges, minor scratches, diamonds are bright and lively, minor inclusions visible with 10x loupe only, crack under setting (see image) otherwise band and setting in good condition, stone measuring approx. length 6.93mm, width 6.14mm & depth 5.70mm.
