An early 20th century Art Deco gilt bronze figure in the manner of Ferdinand Preiss, depicting a young European man in 17th century dress and carrying a sword, with carved ivory head and hands, on onyx plinth, left foot indistinctly numbered, height 25.5cm.
Condition - old hairlines to ivory, right thumb broken off and missing, sword loose, play in head and left hand.
