An 18th century longcase clock, brass dial inscribed 'Jno Williamson Bold', width 31cm, eight day movement with seconds and date aperture, Roman numerals and pierced mouldings, the hood with eagle finials, broken swan neck pediment and four fluted columns, cross banded and marquetry inlaid walnut case with fluted quarter columns, base with ogee bracket feet, with two weights and pendulum, height 236cm.

Condition: Dents to finials on hood, minor split under right scroll on hood, glass ok, columns good, general surface wear to brass dial, hands slightly bent, no major damage to dial, natural splits with age along inlay, some splits to cross banding bottom of door, various minor old scuffs and scratches throughout, back left foot detached but present amongst box of bits to include pendulum, weights and winding key, door key also present.
