An early 20th century inlaid mahogany bracket clock, the steel dial with Roman Numerals signed 'Morath Bros. Liverpool, diam. 13cm, silver presentation plaque to front inscribed 'Presented to Major J.J. Melhuish by Officers N.C.O's and Men of C'Coy 86th Batt. County of Lancaster (L'Pool) Home Guard as a mark of appreciation of his wonderful work for the company, April 16th 1943.', gilt brass handle, pierced side grilles, brass terminated quarter columns and brass ball feet, height 40cm.
