A French 19th century gilt metal and ebonised casket having figural finial and columns, scroll work throughout, mask handles, wenge lined single drawer and purple velvet lined interior, complete with original key, width 32cm, depth 21cm & height 29cm.
Condition: stress fracture visible to lower front below keyhole, some minor scuffs to front drawer front, some minor loss to gilding, a couple of the fittings loose holding down gilt metal mouldings including top piece, possible repair to side front corner of drawer, overall very good, no signs of major damage, felt lining in good order, key present.
