A 17th century oak coffer, three piece plank top, the front with carved detail and marquetry inlaid floral panels, width 132cm, depth 50cm & height 75cm.
Condition - back right leg with an old replacement, later hinges, later bottom and later candle box, top split twice and has old repairs but there is play in these joints, old worm holes to right side but no dust nor any sign of active worms, i can't find any other worm holes, the cabinet generally sturdy with plenty of length in the legs.
